After more than two hours of battle and after dropping 2-0 in sets, Monza downed Milano in Round 13, noting the fourth successive win in the 2020/21 Italian Men’s SuperLega Credem Banca regular season.

The third-placed Milano was a step away from what would’ve been a huge comeback, especially knowing they had 7-3 in the tie-break, which is an advantage that almost always guarantees the victory. Turkish Adis Lagumdžija highlighted Monza with 33 points but his display in the first two sets was outstanding with 20 points out of 25 attacks and without a single error committed.
