In the 19th round of the 2020/21 Italian Women’s Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile regular season, Bartoccini Fortinfissi Perugia showed positive signs of overthrowing Imoco Volley Conegliano’s invincibility that lasted for 40 games (17 in the league) prior to the match. However, Daniele Santarelli’s team prevailed in 4 sets, partially 23-25, 25-22, 25-21, and 25-15, coming very close to securing a top spot in the charts for the playoffs.

Paola Egonu topped Imoco’s scorers with 26 points. The Pole Joanna Wołosz served 4 aces, Sarah Fahr set up 5 blocks, while Monica De Gennaro had 76 % reception (21 digs, 2 errors, 48 % perfect).

Third-placed Saugella Monza recorded the 10th successive win as they swept Il Bisonte Firenze in a delayed match of Round 16. Belgian duo Heyrman – Van Hecke scored 13 points apiece for Monza, while Beatrice Parrocchiale made 90 % reception (10 digs; 70 % perfect).
