Andreoli Latina
MACERATA started strongly and easily gained a 0-5 adventage. Andreoli slowly recovered and returned into a tie (8-8). The race went point to point then Lube moved forward to close 20-25.
2nd set – Travica and Savani carried Lube to 2-5, but again Andreoli equaled to 6-6. As the game kept going MACERATA made another lead – 13-17 which lasted short, since LATINA leveled all back to 19-19. After a tuough battle, LATINA closed the set with 27 to 25.
3rd set – LATINA made a fast lead 16-9, and kept going with the same pace, to claim the set 25-20.
4th set – LATINA started well again, but MACERATA recovered quickly, and gained a huge lead – 8-17. After this lead, Lube easily closed the set 19-25.
5th set – Tiebreak started with both teams playing equaly. It was played point by point untill LATINA’s lead 8-6. Then MACERATA answered properly and leveled the score to 9-9. Double counterattack by Troy led LATINA to 12-9. Then they came to 13-11, which interrupted MACERATA’s concentration and eventually LATINA celebrated 15-12.
