Modena won the big match, the recovery of the 19th round of the 2021/22 SuperLega Credem Banca, against Lube at home with a score of 3-1 to further isolate themselves in the 4th place in the standings. The Civitanova side committed too many unforced errors (35 compared to Modena’s 25) and for them, this was a heavy defeat in the race for 2nd place that also sees Itas Trento, given that the two are still tied at 51 points. The top spot truly seems unattainable for the titleholders right now given -10 in relation to Sir Safety Conad Perugia.
The Dutchman Nimir Abdel-Aziz stood out in the team commanded by Andrea Giani with 19 points.
