The Italian women’s volleyball side Igor Gorgonzola Novara and Stefano Lavarini will continue collaborating for 2 more years.
After 2 years together, Novara and Lavarini further bound their future with a 2-year renewal according to which the expert will be in command of the team until 2024. This decision demonstrated the desire of last season’s regular-season runners-up and playoff semi-finalists in the Serie A to give continuity to the cycle that began with the head coach in 2020.
Thus far, during his adventure with Novara, Lavarini helped the club play 4 out of 6 finals in Italy (no titles won, though), earning the qualification for the CEV Champions League in both seasons.
Prior to Lavarini, the Italian side renewed with Cristina Chirichella, Sara Bonifacio, and Caterina Bosetti.
