The seventh 3-point seal from Perugia has arrived on the difficult court in Piacenza, who still can’t find the rhythm even though their roster is packed with champions and big names of world volleyball. Andrea Anastasi’s men won Round 7’s match of the 2022–23 SuperLega Credem Banca with a score of 3-1 (25-21, 25-22, 22-25, 25-22) proving once again their great quality and personality. The ‘Block Devils’ have always had the reins of the match except for the central and final part of the third set, in which the home team tried to reopen a match that up to that point their rivals had under control.

Luxembourger Kamil Rychlicki was the top scorer on the winning side with 19 points. Cuban-Brazilian Yoandy Leal tallied the same number of points, but for Piacenza., while Cuban Robertlandy Simón made 6 blocks. Perugia is the sole leader in the standings, with as many as 8 points more than the closest pursuer, Itas Trentino (one match less played). Piacenza, on the other hand, have a negative record of 3-4.
