In a 11th round of the SuperLega Credem Banca, volleyball fans witnessed some remarkable performances and unexpected comebacks. Notably, Verona and Milano staged incredible comebacks at Eurosuole Forum and PalaBarton, respectively. Meanwhile, Cisterna and Taranto celebrated full-point victories at home, and Piacenza and Trento bagged important away points.

Highlighting the round, Cucine Lube Civitanova fell to Rana Verona in a nail-biting 2-3 match, showcasing the latter’s resilience (25-22, 25-18, 16-25, 23-25, 12-15). Gioiella Prisma Taranto also emerged victorious against Farmitalia Catania with a 3-1 scoreline (25-19, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23), with an outstanding performance by Russell, who scored 15 points.

Pallavolo Padova couldn’t withstand the prowess of Itas Trentino, succumbing to a 0-3 defeat (20-25, 32-34, 22-25). Cisterna Volley triumphed over Mint Vero Volley Monza 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 21-25, 25-22).

Sir Susa Vim Perugia faced a tough battle against Allianz Milano, ultimately losing 2-3 (25-14, 25-20, 12-25, 22-25, 12-15). Allianz Milano’s comeback was led by Matey Kaziyski, who played a pivotal role in the win. In another match, Valsa Group Modena was defeated by Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza 0-3 (20-25, 19-25, 21-25), with Lucarelli shining bright for Piacenza.
