In the second game of the SuperLega Credem Banca Playoff Semifinals, Itas Trentino secured a significant victory against MINT Vero Volley Monza, pushing the series to 2-0. Despite the enthusiastic support of over 3,500 fans at the Opiquad Arena in Monza, the home team fell 1-3 (15-25, 25-21, 18-25, 18-25) in a match that lasted nearly two hours.

Itas Trentino showed a strong game, with Alessandro Michieletto leading the team with 17 points and earning the MVP title.

Monza’s standout players included Loeppky with 19 points, followed by Galassi and Szwarc, each contributing 13 points. However, their effort was not enough to overcome Trentino’s dominance.

The series now moves to Trento for the third game, where Monza will face a do-or-die situation to keep their playoff hopes alive.

The next showdown is scheduled for Sunday, April 7th, at the “Il T Quotidiano Arena” in Trento, where Monza aims to turn the tide in this fiercely contested semifinal series.
