This is a great satisfaction for everyone”.
Cantù’s coach said he was proud all the same of his team’s achievement: “I am proud to have trained these boys. They have shown exceptional technical and human qualities. We got that far thanks to how united the group was and how well president Ambrogio Molteni handled things. He is the heart and soul of this team. Our greatest victory is that we made a lot of people fall in love with volleyball in a city, which rightly so given the history, lives off basketball”.
