Sesi-SP captain Fabiana Claudino:

“Volero did a great job today. We had to do some changes in our game plan as we had some problems with their defense and strong attacks. We struggled after this wrong decision made by the referees in the fourth set. Nevertheless, we came back as team. It’s an important medal for all of us. We are a young club and I’m sure that we will grow as team. This Bronze medal is the crown of an incredible season. Every medal has its special value and this one is just beautiful for me.”

Volero Zurich captain Mira Golubovic:

“We gave our best, but it wasn’t enough. The game was so tight and we had our opportunities. We tried to fight our way back and were so near. I wanted to win this Bronze medal, even more as this is my last game after a long career and I wanted to thank the club and the fans with a victory. However, it shouldn’t be.”
