Reports suggest the launch of Club Italia, a new team set to compete in Serie A2, with legendary coach Julio Velasco leading the project, alongside Juan Manuel Cichello. The initiative aims to nurture Italy’s top young volleyball talents, helping them train together, gain experience, and accelerate their development.
However, Igor Volley Novara has addressed the rumors, confirming that Cichello is under contract until June 30, 2026, with no option for an early exit. Despite this, the club remains open to discussions with the Italian Volleyball Federation once the season concludes. Stay tuned for more updates!
