French outside hitter Yacine Louati is making a comeback to Asseco Resovia Rzeszów for the 2025/26 season. After a season with Allianz Milano, the transfer is now official—Louati is heading back to Poland!
Why Is Louati Returning?
The 33-year-old outside hitter is no stranger to Polish volleyball. He previously played for Jastrzębski Węgiel (2020–21), winning the Polish Championship, and later for Asseco Resovia (2023–24). Despite moving to the Italian league, his stay there will be short-lived.
In an interview with FFvolley, Louati confirmed his decision:
“I’m going back to Resovia. Italy has a strong league with a great history, but for me, Poland is the future of volleyball.”
