The Courmayeur Cup returns on Friday, September 26, and Saturday, September 27, as the top four teams of last season’s Serie A1 Tigotà gather beneath Mont Blanc for the tournament’s second edition.
Defending champions Imoco Conegliano, Vero Volley Milano, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, and Igor Gorgonzola Novara will face off at the Courmayeur Sport Center. The semifinals see Conegliano meet Novara at 17:30 local time (15:30 GMT) and Milano take on Scandicci at 20:30 (18:30 GMT). Saturday features the third-place match at 16:30 (14:30 GMT), followed by the final at 19:30 (17:30 GMT). Matches will be broadcast on Rai Sport, DAZN, and YouTube, with English commentary on Volleyball World’s channel.
Spotlight players include Isabelle Haak, Conegliano’s unstoppable scorer, and captain Paola Egonu, leading a refreshed Milano roster. Scandicci relies on the powerful Ekaterina Antropova, while Novara showcases stars like Mayu Ishikawa and Britt Herbots.
