MINT Vero Volley Monza defeated Allianz Milano 3-0 (25-20, 25-12, 25-17) in a test match at the Opiquad Arena, later securing an additional set 27-25.
Monza showed greater efficiency in attack (52%) and dominance at the net with 14 blocks, while Milano finished at 32% with just 2 blocks.
Top scorers included Padar (15 points), Velichkov (14), Frascio (10), and Larizza (9) for Monza, while Recine led Milano with 9.
Middle blocker Jacopo Larizza described the match as an important step in preparing for the SuperLega season. Monza will continue pre-season action against Padova before hosting Sir Susa Scai Perugia in their league opener on October 21.
