ITA W: Scandicci Joins Conegliano at the Top, Monviso Wins Florence Marathon

Four matches marked the fifth round of the Serie A1 Tigotà Regular Season on Sunday. Scandicci, Milano, and Busto Arsizio all won in straight sets, while Monviso edged Firenze in a thrilling five-setter.

Savino Del Bene Scandicci caught Conegliano at the top by sweeping Omag-Mt San Giovanni in Marignano (16-25, 17-25, 15-25). MVP Marta Bechis led the way, with Lindsey Ruddins and Caterina Bosetti scoring 14 each. For San Giovanni, Martina Bracchi finished with 11 points.

In Busto Arsizio, Eurotek Laica UYBA beat Megabox Ond. Savio Vallefoglia 3-0 (25-21, 25-23, 25-12). MVP Katja Eckl starred with 13 points and an 80% attack rate, while Josephine Obossa added 19. Bici scored 12 for the visitors.

At Opiquad Arena, Numia Vero Volley Milano topped Cbf Balducci Hr Macerata 3-0 (25-21, 29-27, 25-16). Egonu scored 19 points, MVP Kurtagic and Lanier added 10 each.

The most balanced match was in Florence, where Wash4Green Monviso overcame Il Bisonte Firenze 3-2 (22-25, 26-24, 25-22, 18-25, 12-15). MVP Dodson scored 14 with 3 blocks; Davyskiba and Malual added 18 each. For Firenze, Villani had 17 and Bukilic 13.

The Serie A1 Tigotà continues midweek, with matches set for October 29–30.
