Vallefoglia delivered the shock of the round in Italy’s Serie A1 Tigotà, upsetting powerhouse Vero Volley Milano 3–1 in Pesaro, while Chieri celebrated a derby victory over Igor Gorgonzola Novara.

Vallefoglia played with confidence and control, recovering after losing the second set to close the match convincingly. Milano fell despite a big scoring night from its captain, suffering one of its rare defeats of the season.
Chieri rebounded from last week’s loss with a 3–1 home win against Novara. After two evenly split opening sets, Chieri pulled away behind a strong blocking performance to secure the derby.
At the top of the standings, Imoco Conegliano and Scandicci both recorded straight-set victories at home, maintaining their grip on first place. Bergamo also swept its Lombardy derby against UYBA Busto Arsizio, giving new coach Marcello Cervellin a winning debut.
In the relegation battle, Pinerolo earned a vital 3–0 win over Perugia. Elsewhere, Il Bisonte Firenze outlasted Macerata in five sets, prevailing in the tie-break.
