Who will be the new head coach of Italy? There are several candidates and Radostin Stoychev is one of them. According to the latest WoV Poll, head coach of Trentino is the fans favorite, but the final decision is up to the Italian Volleyball Federation… And they haven’t contacted Stoychev so far…
“I guess I was nominated because I won the Serie A last season and because I was named the best coach of the 2014/15 season in Italy. But, that does not mean that I will become the head coach of Italy. Until this moment I haven’t received any proposal from the Italian Volleyball Federation. I am focused on my job in Trentino and I haven’t negotiated with anyone else. If the proposal came from some club from Italy I would not discuss it. But, to be honest I have never thought about this topic of the national team. I am honored to be one of the candidates” said Stoychev for Bulgarian media.
