It was the derby of the day. Serie A classic – Verona vs. Modena. Home side had huge ambitions after defeating Perugia at the start of the league, while away team wanted to continue with great results in this season.
At the end, the visitors from Modena have stormed through Verona leaving their hosts without a single set!
Earvin N’gapeth was the top scorer of the winning side with 16 points, Luca Vettori added 12, while Lucas Saatkamp finished the game with 11 points. Of course, everything was perfectly organized by the mastermind of the Yellow squad – Bruno Rezende. Also, the great thing for Modena was that Nemanja Petrić has returned on court after injury! He scored 9 points and helped his teammates to win this big match.
On the other side, Verona disappointed their fans this time. Only Taylor Sander collected double figures this Sunday – 12 points.
