They achieved straigh-set win over German Allianz MTV Stuttgart in second leg of the Challenge Round – quarter-finals and repeated sweep from first leg – 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-21).

Nataliya Malykh was the best scorer in Krasnodar with 14 points, while Marina Maryukhnich added 10. Tatyana Kosheleva, the main star of Krasnodar , was pretty much spared in attack ending the game with seven points in two sets played.

Huge drama was seen in Italy where Igor Gorgonzola Novara fully annulled defeat from first leg against Azerbaijani Azeryol Baku (3-1) and beat opponents by the same result in secind leg. It ment that Golden Set had to decide which team will face Krasnodar in semifinals. Azeryol took it by 15-13!

Ukrainian Anna Stepanyuk had 17 points in Azeryol while Croatian Samanta Fabris contributed with 33 in Novara.
