Sète
In 19th round, Sète defeated Narbonne Volley on road 3-1 to extend winning streak of ten games and maintain leadership gained in previous round when they took advantage of Tours’ fail against Nantes Rezé Métropole Volley. Marien Moreau, former member of the French National Team, topped Sète’s scorers with 24 points.
Tours, coached by the famous Belgian expert Vital Heynen, are back on the winning track after prevailing GFCA Volley-Ball Ajaccio at home court 3-1 with 15 points from American David Smith and Czech David Konečný.
French runners-up Paris Volley suffered pretty embarrassing defeat on road against Stade Poitevin Volley-Beach Poitiers 3-0 despite 16 points from CanadianNicolas Hoag.
