The finals of the CEV competitions in this season are indeed spectacular. Yesterday, there were two tie-breakers in the CEV Cup Finals, while today we saw a fierce battle between Verona and Fakel in the 1st leg of the Challenge Cup Finals!
Eventually, the Italian powerhouse seized a tie-break win at home court, mostly thanks to incredible performance of Uroš Kovačević! Serbian player scored 27 points for the winning side and marked the 1st leg of the Finals.
The rematch will be played in Russia on April 3.

Kudos to verona played by champions with tenacity and grit from samples you unbeatable congratulations to captain of verona simone anzani
before verona play OK on series A during the first quarter because 3 of their players are just new but now they start to have that chemistry play as ONE the only problem they need to work is consistency, how to maintain their LEAD and mostly teams problem when they are up by 2 sets they relax but i can say VERONA play superb that 2nd set is my fave is just wow
