Head coach of Italian National Team, Gianlorenzo Blengini, revealed the list of 21 players for the 27th edition of the FIVB World League, which kicks off on June 16 and will end on July 17.

Upon being established as head coach of Italy, in August 2015, Blengini pardoned two of four players punished by previous expert Mauro BerrutoZaytsev and Sabbi – but did not do the same with Randazzo and Travica. Even after almost a year, both are still away from the National Team.

Blengini’s list:

Setters: Simone Giannelli, Daniele Sottile and Riccardo Sbertoli.

Middle blockers: Enrico Cester, Davide Candellaro, Emanuele Birarelli, Simone Buti, Matteo Piano and Simone Anzani.

Receivers: Osmany Juantorena, Filippo Lanza, Oleg Antonov, Michele Fedrizzi, Iacopo Botto and Gabriele Maruotti.

Opposites: Ivan Zaytsev, Luca Vettori, Gabriele Nelli and Giulio Sabbi.

Liberos: Massimo Colaci and Salvatore Rossini.
