Supercup 2012
Modena returns to host this prestigious event exactly 10 years since the 2002 edition played on October 19th between Daytona Meta Modena and Noicom Bre Banca Cuneo.
Lube Banca Marche Macerata and Itas Diatec Trentino have already played in the Supercup: September 20, 2008 the two teams met at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, where Macerata won 3:0.
Lube Banca Marche Macerata won another edition of the Italian Supercup in 2006 against Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo. Trento took the Supercup for the first time last season, winning the match against Cagliari.
Both teams participate this year in the Champions League.
Itas Diatec Trentino will play in Doha from October 13 to 19 for the Club World Cup. If they win it will be their fourth title.
