Trentino vs. Monza
Second seed Diatec Trentino did not have problems against No.7 Gi Group Monza in Game 1 of the best-of-three playoff quarter-finals 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-18) to keep home court incincibility this season (17 wins in „PalaTrento“ in all competitions), beating Monza for the eighth time in a row.
Trentino‘s Czech Jan Štokr scored game-high 16 points while Filippo Lanza dominated in the service, pouring five of nine aces of Trentino. As a team, Trentino made 67% attacks. In Monza, Brazilian Leandro Vissotto stood out with 11 points.
Game 2 is scheduled for March 8 in Monza.
