Imoco Volley Conegliano
The reigning champions Imoco Volley Conegliano were in a difficult situation, losing the first two sets against Firenze. However, the rival didn’t manage to win the third set and to force the Golden set! Even thought Imoco lost this game in five sets (27-29, 27-29, 26-24, 25-21, 8-15), they have advanced to semis thanks to the result in the first match (3-0).
Busto Arsizio have prevailed over Liu Jo Nordmeccanica Modena in a derby of the quarterfinals 3-1 (26-24, 24-26, 25-21, 25-14) to book the ticket for the semifinals.
Scandicci were also close to force the game into the Golden set, however, Monza have managed to prevent this outcome by winning two sets and to advance to the next round 3-2 (25-13, 25-16, 19-25, 26-28, 15-13).
Novara didn’t have any difficulties against Pesaro 3-0 (25-20, 25-17, 25-18).
At the Final Four in Bologna (17/18 February), Imoco will play against Busto in the semis, while the other pair is Novara – Monza.
