Japan Men’s V.League: Igor Omrcen with 48 points barely defeated FC Tokyo in tie-break

Gosei Trefuerza has definitely dominated in the Japanese league thanks to the Croatian opposite Igor Omrcen. They scored their 6th win out of 6 matches but today they barely defeated FC Tokyo in the tie-break.

Igor Omrcen was the best scorer with amazing 48 points which 9 are from the service line. On the other side, Milan Pepić finished the match with 23 points.

Panasonic Panthers scored a 3-1 win over Toray Arrows and remains on the second place on the standings but Gavin Schmitt was the best scorer of the match with 30 points. Polish attacker Michal Kubiak scored 20 points for the winning team.

Thomas Edgar and JT Thunders defeated JTEKT of Matey Kaziyski , while Sakai had luck in the match against Suntry which was finished in the 5th set.

JTEKT – JT Thunders 0-3 (18-25, 18-25, 22-25); Kaziyski 13 (1 bl, 2 ac) – Edgare 25 (3 bl)

Suntory Sunbirds – Osaka Sakai 2-3 (25-23, 20-25, 26-28, 25-14, 12-15); Escobar 29 (2 bl, 3 ac) – Wallace 30 (4 bl, 3 ac)
