Chinese women’s league: Liaoning crushed Evergrande; Shanghai dominated in Group B

After one more round in the Chinese women elite volleyball league, Liaoning and Shanghai are still undefeated and on the top of their groups.

In the fourth round, Liaoning crushed Evergrande in a straight-set. Li dominated the winning team while the Cuban attacker Nancy Carrillo de la Paz scored 13 points for Evergrande.

In Group B, Shanghai defeated Hebei also in three sets, this time Yi Yang was the top scorer with 17 points while Kim Yeon-Koung finished the match with 15.

Chinese women’s league, round 4:

Group A

Sichuan  – Jiangsu 0-3 (17-25, 14-25, 11-25); Zhang Yao 6 – Zhang Changning 15.

Henan – Bayi 0-3 (12-25, 21-25, 13-25); Xiao 13 – Yuan 19, Liu 14.

Guangdong Evergrande – Liaoning 0-3 (15-25, 19-25, 23-25); Carrillo 13, Bursac 5, Yaneva 2 – Li 15

Group B

Tianjin – Zheijang 3-1 (25-19, 25-23, 22-25, 27-25); Ying 28, Wang 16 – Li 33, Yang 15.

Shanghai – Hebei 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 25-11); Tang 17, Kim 15 – Zhou 10.

Beijing – Yun Nan University 3-0 (25-21, 25-18, 25-21); Xiaotong 15, Kai Yi 11, Wopat 8 – Liu 15, Hui 15, Tremayne 7.
