Hyundai Capital, the top seed of the regular season, moved two wins closer to the overall championship by defeating Korean Air in Game 1 of the 2024–2025 V-League Men’s Finals.
On April 1st at Yu Gwan-sun Gymnasium in Cheonan, head coach Philippe Blain led Hyundai Capital to a 3-1 win (25-20, 24-26, 25-22, 25-23) over Korean Air in the best-of-five series opener.
Top scorer Leonardo Leyva Martínez – Leo led the offense with 25 points, including two service aces and two blocks.
Su-Bong Heo added 17 points, while middle blockers Tae-Jun Jeong and Min-Ho Choi each contributed 8 points, with 3 and 1 blocks respectively.
