PAC U23 W: Dominican girls, Cuba, Mexico and Peru started with victories

The Pan American Cup U23 for women has started in Peru and four teams already celebrated their first wins.

Uxue Guereca in attack

The Dominican Republic outplayed Costa Rica, Cuba were stronger than Guatemala while Peru defeated Chile. All matches were finished in straight sets only Mexico defeated Colombia in the tie-break. The opposite Uxue Guereca was in charge of leading her team to victory scoring the highest score of the first day, 35 points

Day 1

Dominican Republic – Costa Rica 3-0 (25-16, 25-15, 25-11)

Cuba – Guatemala 3-0 (25-19, 25-9, 25-15)

Mexico – Colombia 3-2 (23-25, 25-14, 16-25, 25-18, 15-9)

Peru – Chile 3-0 (25-23, 25-21, 25-20)
