NORCECA U18 W: Dominican Republic and Canada beat their rivals to get semifinal tickets

The Dominican Republic and Canada have advanced to the semifinals of the Norceca U18 2018 championship.

They have completed the same jobs as their compatriots at the Norceca U21 M championship. It was almost the same scenario in the quarterfinals, with one different national team name. 

The Dominican girls ran over Nicaragua 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-16). Gonzalez was the best scorer with 16 points. In another quarterfinal game, Canada defeated Honduras in straight sets as well 25-15, 25-16, 25-16). Pantovic and Smrek were the best scorers with 12 points each.

Norceca U18 championship, quarterfinals:

Dominican Republic – Nicaragua 3-0 (25-6, 25-11, 25-16)

Honduras – Canada 0-3 (15-25, 16-25, 16-25)

Semifinals:

Cuba – Canada

United States – Dominican Republic
