NORCECA U21 M: Canada and Dominican Republic reach semifinals

The men's U21 volleyball national teams of Canada and the Dominican Republic have defeated their rivals in the quarterfinals to make a progress at the Norceca U21 2018 championship.

Bayron Valdez Pena has scored 25 points to lead the Dominican Republic to the win over Nicaragua. On the other side, Jonny Zeledon had also a good game, finishing the match with 21 points.

Canada didn’t have any troubles against Barbados. Alexandre Nsakanda showed a good display scoring 17 points which marked him as a top scorer of the game.

The Dominican boys will meet the USA in semis while Canada will play against Cuba.

Norceca U21 Championship, quarterfinals:

Dominican Republic – Nicaragua 3-0 (25-23, 25-19, 25-17)

Canada – Barbados 3-0 (25-13, 25-14, 25-20)

Semifinals:

Cuba – Canada

United States – Dominican Republic
