Peru Triumphs Over Guatemala

Peru defeated Guatemala 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-22) at the National Volleyball Pavilion in the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center. Peru excelled in attacks (44-34) and blocks (13-8), while both teams tied in serves (2-2). Peruvian captain Eduardo Romay led with 14 points, supported by Benjamín Patrón (12 points) and Maikel Jaramillo (11 points). Guatemala’s Carlos López and Andy Blanco scored 14 and 11 points, respectively.

USA Beats Mexico

The United States secured their second win by beating Mexico 3-1 (25-19, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18). The US dominated in attacks (47-41), blocks (7-4), and serves (10-4). Gabriel García led with 15 points, and Ethan Champlin added 11. Mexico’s Mauro Fuentes and Juan García scored 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Cuba Secures First Victory

Cuba won against Colombia 3-0 (25-18, 25-23, 25-21) at the “Ricardo Arias” National Volleyball Pavilion. Cuba outperformed in attacks (42-27) and serves (6-3), while Colombia led in blocks (8-6). Victor Andreu led Cuba with 14 points, with Carlos Charles and Bryan Camino adding 13 and 12 points. Colombia’s Andrés Piza and Jharold Caicedo scored 9 and 7 points.

Canada Defeats Puerto Rico

Canada emerged victorious over Puerto Rico with a 3-0 win (25-22, 25-21, 25-23). Canada dominated in attacks (48-30), blocks (7-4), and serves (7-1). Jordan Canham and Jesee Elser were top scorers with 17 and 14 points. Puerto Rico’s Pedro Molina and Klistan Lawrence contributed 12 and 10 points.
