PAC 2016 W: Cuba and Puerto Rico in semifinals

Cuba and Puerto Rico have joined USA and Dominican Republic in the semifinals of the Pan American Cup 2016.

In the quarterfinals Cuba outplayed Canada after long rally 3-2. Sulian Matienzo led four Cuban players with double figures in the scoring charts with 20 points and Heidy Rodriguez added 17 of her own. Daymara Lezcay finished with 12, including 6 blocks, and Alena Rojas added 10, with four blocks.

On the other side Puerto Rico was better than Argentina; they finished match after only three sets. Stephanie Enright had 16 points,  while  Karina Ocasio and Lynda Morales added 10 and 9. Emilce Sosa was the best for Argentina with 7 points.

In the semis Cuba will face hosts Dominican Republic while Puerto Rico will play against USA.
