PAC U23 W: Third consecutive title for Dominicans, Brayelin MVP

The Dominican Republic won their third consecutive title at the U23 Women’s Pan American Cup with a sweeping victory over Argentina 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-19).

Cuba claimed bronze medal after they defeated the host Peru 3-2 (25-14, 25-19, 16-25, 12-25, 15-8), and also took the spot to World Championship.

Brayelin Elizabeth Martinez get second MVP at U23 Pan Am Cup. Martinez was also the second best wing spiker and was joined by countrywomen Winifer Fernandez Perez, who took home the award as best digger.

Peruvian Angela Leyva was the best scorer and first best wing spiker.

Argentineans Candelaria Herrera, Daniela Bulaich, Sol Ayelen Piccolo and Antonela Fortuna received the plaques as first best middle blocker, best opposite best receiver and best libero, respectively.

Cubans Yelennis Diaz, Gretell Moreno and Diaris Perez were recognized as second best middle blocker, best setter and best server, respectively.
