Today, in the “Dudova Šuma” sports hall in Subotica, an exhibition match took place between the senior women of Serbia, Romania, and Spain and the local sitting Volleyball club “Subotica”. The match was attended by Mr. Darko Djuričković, coordinator of all national teams of Serbia, Mr. Tihomir Mandić, “Vip mobile” representative in the City of Subotica, Mr. Zoran Olajić, Director of the Organizing Committee of the European League in Subotica, representatives of the national teams of Romania, Spain and Hungary, CEV Supervisor Gabriel Lotan, Referee Delegate of the International Paralympic Committee Georgios Georgouleas from Greece as well as numerous media and journalists.
“It is very important to try to develop the sport of sitting Volleyball, especially in a country like Serbia that is among the best Volleyball countries in the world. This can be a very good start for a more extensive promotion of sitting Volleyball” said Mr. Lotan.
At the end of the exhibition match with the sitting Volleyball players of “Subotica” on one side of the net and the players of Serbia, Spain and Romania on the other, the national players of Serbia presented their sitting Volleyball colleagues with sweat suits, courtesy of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and of the “Vip mobile” company.
