FRIENDLIES W: Czech outplayed France, Poland and Slovenia played equally

Some interesting friendly matches were played as the part of the preparation for many competitions.

Czech Republic – France

The Czech Republic and France have played three friendly matches as the part of the preparation for the Qualification for EuroVolley 2019. 

In the first match the result was 2-2 (25-20, 17-25, 25-17, 23-25) same like in the second match (27-25, 23-25, 23-25, 25-22) while in the third the Czech team won 3-1 (25-21, 25-23, 16-25, 27-25).

Helena Cazaute was the best scorer of the last two matches with 17 points while in the first match Lucille Gicquel scored 22 points.

Bosnia & Herzegovina – Montenegro

In the first friendly match in Lukavac, women’s National team of Bosnia and Herzegovina outplayed Montenegro after five sets 25-20, 23-25, 25-23, 19-25, 15-11 while in the second match they celebrated a victory again but this time with 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21). In the first match, Iman Isanović was the top scorer of the winning team with 15 points followed by Dajana Bošković who scored 13 points while Ksenija Ivanović led Montenegro with 17 points.

With these two matches, teams finished this part of the preparation for the Qualification for European Championship 2019. 

Poland – Slovenia

Poland and Slovenia have met also twice and after checks the result is equal. In the first match, Slovenia won although Polish girls led 2-0 in sets. The result at the end was 3-2 (20-25, 20-25, 27-25, 25-20, 15-8) for Slovenia. The best scorer in the Polish team was Malwina Smarzek with 22 points.

The day after, Poland fixed the game and celebrated victory after only three sets (25-22, 25-22, 25-21).
Slovenia is preparing for the Qualifications for EuroVolley 2019 while Poland will take part at the Volley Masters Montreux 2018.

Greece – Romania 

Greece and Romani played their first friendly match and the host team celebrated the win of 3-1 (25-12, 25-20, 21-25, 27-25). The top scorer of the match was Anthi Vasilantonaki with 21 points while Olga Strantzali scored 18 points. On the Romanian side, Ioana Maria Baciu was the best with 16 points. The second match is scheduled for today.
