One round before the end of the Final 8 in the 2018-19 V.League Division 1, the last vacant spot for the Final 3 has been snatched. By beating direct rivals Toyota Auto Body Queenseis on the road by a 3-1 (25-18, 19-25, 25-17, 25-23), Toray Arrows have qualified for the V.League semifinals. Ai Kurogo top-scored for the winning side with 25 points, while Azerbaijan national team member Jana Kulan added 24 points. Turkish Neriman Özsoy was the best scorer in Queenseis with 28 points.
In the semifinals, Toray will face second seed JT Marvelous who secured their berth in Final 3 earlier. Hisamitsu Pharmaceutical Springs claimed an automatic ticket for the gold medal matchup as the Final 8 winners.
Final 3 will be held at Shimadzu Arena in Kyoto on March 30-31.
