The players coached by the country’s volleyball legend Nikolay Jeliazkov beat the regular season winners Hebar Pazardzhik (18-4, 50 points) in Game 3 of the 2018/19 Superliga playoff finals in straight sets (25-23, 25-15, 25-12) to close the series by a 3-0. Thus, Neftochimic, who entered the playoffs as the third seed (16-6, 47 points) took revenge on Hebar for losing the national Cup final back in January.
Nikolay Uchikov top-scored for the new titleholders in Game 3 with 15 points (three aces). Slovenian Alen Djordjevič made 75% positive reception). Canadian Bradley Gunter scored 11 points for Hebar.
