A 30-year old Rebecca Perry reinforced Altay for the 2019/20 season, volleyball.it reported. The Kazakh titleholders will be Perry’s 13th club for whom she will compete in her nine-year professional career upon graduating at the University of Washington. “Becky“ even tried herself in beach volleyball (2015-2017) and was close to competing in the 2016 Rio Olympics for Italy national team but did not fulfill the requirements by the FIVB. Last season, Perry (one.time German Championship winner) defended the colors of Hyundai Engineering & Construction Hillstate in Korea and F2 Logistics Cargo Movers (Philippines).
Serbian Danica Radenković will also play in Altay next season. Best Setter in the 2009 FIVB U18 World Championship and 2010 CEV U19 EuroVolley spent the last season wearing the jersey of Èpiù Pomì Casalmaggiore in Italy. A 26-year-old setter, who has been occasionally summoned to compete for Serbia national team, won one Italian Championship and Cup earlier in her career.
