The 12-time Dutch men’s volleyball Championship winners, Draisma Dynamo, have secured the signature of the country’s national team player Sjoerd Hoogendoorn.

Dutch giants Dynamo welcomed the country’s national team opposite hitter Hoogendoorn. The 29-year-old player has already worn the jersey of the Apeldoorn team (2009 – 2013), winning the Dutch Championship once, the Dutch Cup two times, and the Dutch Super Cup once.

Despite receiving offers to stay in Italy where he spent the last five years of his career, Hoogendoorn decided to return to his homeland to complete a Master of Medicine. Out of those five seasons in Italy, he spent the last two with Sir Safety Conad Perugia, winning the national Cup and Super Cup one time apiece.
