The Estonia National Team was to play two away friendly matches against the world champions Poland on July 26 and 27, but decided not to go there due to the threat of the coronavirus. So, instead of traveling to Łódź (there was even the possibility that the audience will be present on the stands), the Estonia National Team will return to the country from Finland where it played a friendly match in Salo and won by a 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-19).

The Estonia Men head coach Cédric Énard said that there has been a lot of news from Poland in recent days about the increase in the number of people infected with the coronavirus, and that was the reason to cancel the arranged encounters. Estonia will continue preparations for the friendly matches against Latvia, which will take place in early August in Võru and Tartu.
