The 31-year-old middle blocker Wohlfahrtstätter will go for the third consecutive season with Benfica.
The long-time Austria National Team member (since 2008) was involved in Benfica’s historical CEV Champions League appearance last season in which the Lisbon club won the national Super Cup. A year before that, Wohlfahrtstätter helped Benfica claim the triple crown: national championship, Cup, and Super Cup.
