The Iranian international Sharifi has signed a contract with a club in his home country, Shahrdari Urmia. Last season, the 21-year-old outside hitter played for Turkey’s Bursa B.Şehir Bld.

Sharifi debuted for the Iran National Team in 2018. He dominated international events in his youth career, being named Best Outside Spiker at the last year’s FIVB U21 World Championship, among several other individual awards.
