The head coach of Bulgaria’s Maritza, Ivan Petkov, took over the bench of Prometey. He’s already on his way to Ukraine and will start working with the players commanded by Andriy Romanovych until now.

Petkov is the most successful coach in the history of Maritza. He has been at the helm of the Plovdiv team for almost 15 years. During that time, he led the club to win the national title six times, the national Cup five times, and the national Super Cup once. Since 2018, Petkov has been the head coach of the Bulgaria women’s National Team. At the champions of Ukraine, he’ll reunite with the former captain of Maritza, Lora Kitipova.
