By overpowering Bala Hisar in the encounter of the two unbeaten teams worth the title, Omul Belad put their name in the history of Afghan volleyball as the country’s first-ever men’s champions.
The final of the historic Premier League was held in Kabul in front of the packed stands (2,500 spectators). As for the match itself, Omul Belad bounced back from losing the opening set and took the remaining three sets, partially 21-25, 25-16, 25-13, and 25-15.
