Unlike yesterday (Round 13) when the Stings celebrated the win, today (Round 14), the Wolfdogs prevailed in a mutual encounter of these two sides in the 2020/21 Japanese Men’s V.League Division1 regular season, ending rival’s four-game winning streak. The Pole Bartosz Kurek overshadowed all players on the court, putting down 34 points for the winning side who got isolated again at the top of the charts.

The Panasonic Panthers took advantage of the fact that the Suntory Sunbirds didn’t play their match against the Toray Arrows due to Covid-19 and took over second place in the charts. Led by Issei Otake (29 points), Tsubasa Hisahara (5 blocks), and Takeshi Nagano (87.5 % reception), they won a five-setter valid for Round 13 against the JT Thunders, inflicting a third successive defeat to the rivals.
