Deportivo Jaamsa took the trophy in the 2020 Peruvian Women’s Copa Nacional de Vóley Movistar as they defeated Alianza Lima in a thrilling final in Miraflores. Three of a total of five sets ended with a two-point difference. Partially it was 21-25, 32-30, 26-24, 23-25, and 15-12 for the team coached by Juan Carlos Gala.
The Jaamsa outside hitter Coraima Gómez, a former Alianza member (2013 to 2019), was recognized as the player of the match for the trophy. This was a delayed edition of the national cup for the last season, while the edition of 2020/21 is likely to be held in January.
