A little less than a year ago, Plak took a break from volleyball. The 25-year-old player is now full of ambition to get back to work and put herself at the disposal of the Dutch National Team again. Plak currently trains with the top division club in her home country Talentteam Papendal, commanded by the national team head coach Avital Selinger.

During a break from volleyball, Plak didn’t sit still. The outside hitter committed herself to various social initiatives, took part in the work of several foundations whose target groups were young people, acted as a guest presenter on radio, and attended various courses volleyball clinics.

Considering her options for the next club season, Plak will engage in the ‘Volleybaldames’ international commitments this year, such as the FIVB Volleyball Nations League and the CEV European Championship.
