BLR W: Minchanka bring back trophy to their showcase after 3 years

The showdown for the title in the 2020/21 Belarusian Women’s Volleyball Championship lasted for 3 matches.

Minchanka dethroned Pribuzhie in the Belarusian Women’s Championship. The Minsk club swept the series of the playoff finals of the 2020/21 Vysshaya Liga A against the defending champions, prevailing in all 3 matches in straight sets, ended with Game 3 (25-15, 25-12, 25-20).

Nadzeya Smirnova led the club from the country’s capital in a decisive match with 10 points. Her teammate Tatsiana Markevich was named MVP of the league. Minchanka became the champions of Belarus for the 7th time, the first time in 3 years. Pribuzhie won the regular season, while Minchanka joined the competition in the semifinals after previously competing in the Russian Superliga Parimatch.
