CZE M: Karlovarsko reject comeback of Jihostroj in final series, claim 2nd title

VK ČEZ Karlovarsko are this year’s winners of the Czech Men’s Volleyball Championship.

VK ČEZ Karlovarsko have become the new men’s champions of the Czech Republic.

In the decisive 5th match of the finals of the 2020/21 UNIQA Extraliga playoffs, they beat VK Jihostroj České Budějovice by a 3-1 (25-15, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22), thus prevailing in the series by a 3-2. Patrik Indra top-scored the winning side with 22 points, while Lukáš Vašina made 4 blocks.

Jihostroj failed to make a full comeback as they lost the first 2 matches but then tied the series at 2-2. The Karlovy Vary team won the 2nd championship title ever.
